With a nice balance of both acidity and tannins, the wine finishes with length and finesse
Winemaker’s Notes: Fourplay is our oldest and probably most sought-after blend. With its marriage of dark fruit, Bordeaux spice, elegant tannin and acidity, it holds up against most medium to full bodied dishes. FourPlay is a natural with grilled meats, ribs, veal chops and game, but equally fond of savory pasta dishes, vegetarian stews, even simple rice and beans. Quality.
Ageing Potential: Now – 2032
Additional Notes: In the Bordeaux wine region of France, you will find the Gironde estuary, which separates two distinctive styles of the “Bordeaux Blend.” On the right bank you will find Merlot dominant blends, while on the left bank, Cabernet Sauvignon will be found in the highest percentage.
