Produced & Bottled by Carhartt Vineyard, Solvang, Ca
Nose (aromas): honeydew melon, apple blossom, stone fruit
Flavor (palate): lemon-lime cream, salinity, white peach, driving acidity
Winemaker’s Notes: Drink chilled! This wine’s mouthfeel is a marriage between viscosity and firm acidity. With its fresh aromas and flavors, it pairs well with anything acidic or savory, from oysters raw or charbroiled, spicy fish tacos, or even goat cheese crostinis drizzled with your favorite honey.
Ageing Potential: Now – 2023
Additional Notes: Berry color on the vine varies. Pinot Gris is darker than most white wine grapes, from pinky purple to almost as dark as Pinot Noir in hotter sites. Inspiration for this wine comes from Tasmania, Australia, where Chase got his first experience working with the grape.
